Gutsy Gibbon released!

Actually it was released on Oct 18.

Gutsy Gibbon is the code name for Ubuntu 7.10, like the earlier version was named Feisty Fawn. I had been running on a dual boot for quite some time, but lately had to be on Windows for about a week due to office work. I logged into Ubuntu, and on running the Update Manager from the Administrator menu, it convineantly showed that 7.10 was available.

The upgrade was a breeze - with a download speed of around 800 kbps, the full upgrade took me just around one hour. The best part was, I was browsing and doing my work as usual on the other desktop area. The upgrade was happening in the background, and it promptem for some info only a handful of times.
