Drupal Trackback Module Has Evovled

It had been quite a while since I had started using the Trackback Drupal Contributed Module here. But it was quite a burden to wade through the tons of spam trackback I got on the site. And I solely used it as a way of sending trackbacks to other sites when I mentioned them. I would blindly delete all the trackbacks that came in for the reason of sheer godly patience I had to have to go through each one of the trackbacks I got.
Recently, I upgraded most of the modules and the core. I make it a practice to update the module versions regularly, and keep myself up to date with the security announcements at Drupal.
I was up for a surprise. There was this tiny little option now in the module's settings: "Reject one-way trackbacks"
I enabled that features, and I am glad I did. Now, I am ready for some real web-conversation here.
If you need more details on trackbacks, the module, and about spam trackbacks in general, do read John's post. I was just doing a search on the option, and I stumbled across his blog.
