Dr. Suess' Horton Hears a Who

Yesterday I watched Dr. Suess' Horton Hears a Who. A nice, 3d animated movie. It was worth the money.

I especially liked the characterizations, the environmental designs of the jungle and the Whoville. But sometimes I felt like they had put fur on everything because they had gotten so good at rendering fur.

This movie almost comes in the league of the Ice Age series. I say, it almost comes, because given a choice I would watch one of the Ice Age movies instead of Horton Hears a Who.

The movie is about an elephant that can hear the voices of the mayor of Whoville, which is a world on a speck. This gets him into lot of trouble, when he tries to find a safe place for the speck.

Bottomline: Watch the movie at least once.

Horton hears a who

Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who is classic, i forgot how much that guy packed into such simple storylines... they didn't add much to the original story either except for the usual Jim-Carryisms.

An existing storyline?

Well, patrick, I did not know about that. Smile So, there is a Dr.Suess and he wrote this story?

Thanks for that info.
