Do You Hate Advertisements?

I know, I do to an extent.
But in a consumerist world, where things need to be marketed, and economy depends on how many people know about your product or service, advertisements are a necessary 'evil'.
And the same is the case when it comes to online world or the internet. Websites need servers, and delivering them needs bandwidth. Creating content and service requires time and effort. And where there is some value, there is an economy going, and that results in advertisements on websites.
While I do not like ads plastered all over the place, I do not hate them. These ads drive the economy of websites, and if you are not ready to see those ads, you need to be ready to pay for those service and content.
On side note of Mayank's post on advertising market for games, he cautions to Wild Tangent to tread fast lest Google take over that market.
But I think that even then it is not safe from Google, as it could buy Wild Tangent when it is successful barring anti-trust cases.
