On Creating Content For CGPainting.com

Martin has yet another post in his ongoing series, this time revolving around creating content for the forum before you start.
Building a new community: Creating content before you launch
My approach was rather different, which also owed to the nature and niche of CGPainting.com.
I had got help from some friends over at LoreleiWeb Forums where I had started a subforum to be used a spring board. Hence, though there was no official 'launch date', it has been a pretty lively place from day one.
Another dilemma I face when creating content is that the topic of CGPainting.com and KalaaLog.com overlap, and I end up putting educative write-ups at the blog and more discussion oriented topics over at the forum CGPainting. Also, there is a lot of, what can be called, cross-pollination between the two.
Do-it-yourself or outsourcing may be major options when creating content, but do explore other venues as depending on the type of forum, there might as well be other methods that you can use in combination.
